Brad Short

Brad is a seasoned financial partner with over 45 years of experience across nonprofit, manufacturing, broadcasting, and oil and gas, managing accounting and finance for organizations with revenues from $10M to $140M. He has guided start-ups, high-growth companies, and organizations navigating industry contraction, and collaborates seamlessly with senior management, boards, and committees on financial reporting, budgeting, strategic planning, and risk management.

Brad's career began in oil and gas before he helped launch Denver's Fox affiliate, KDVR Television, as Controller. He later served as Controller at Optima Batteries during its spin-off from Gates Rubber Company, and spent 15 years as Senior Director of Finance & Administration at the Arabian Horse Association, where he dramatically strengthened the organization's financial position.

Brad holds an MBA in Finance and a BS in Accounting from the University of Denver, and completed the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School. He enjoys hiking, biking, and skiing when he's not managing the family ranch.
