Detective Amanda Grodman serves with the Denver Police Department and brings a rare and deeply impactful perspective to LEI as a guest speaker. Her lived experience includes surviving domestic violence and an officer-involved shooting—experiences that profoundly shape how she approaches both her work and her advocacy.

Amanda uses her story and her role within DPD to encourage honest conversations about trauma, mental health, and healthy relationships. Through LEI, she helps students understand the importance of seeking support, building safe connections, and recognizing their own strength in the face of adversity.
